I like it! i follow you :D

We tend to be 45-60 minutes away from most people but will be about 90 minutes away once we move out to our property. I always worry that we will lose touch with close friends, being so far, but this post makes me hopeful. Getting the most out of life just means staying mindful afterall. -Aimee

That is so true, Aimee! I was just talking about this to my friend. Something will always have to be set aside to make time for these playdates, and when they are with good friends, they're good for all of us. After all, the work is never done anyway! We just have to choose to place efforts where it counts!

What a wonderful playdate! We have bison around us too. They mostly keep to the forest and only seem to attack stupid tourists. That's unfortunately given them a bad reputation, but they are fantastic creatures. An entire herd lives in the forests behind us and we've crossed paths a few times which was quite the sight. It's so good to know the children are playing outdoors too. As fun as video games may be, in my opinion every kid needs to climb trees, shim knees and play using their own imagination rather than pre-packaged imagination. Great post!

Thank you! Wow I have not heard of bison dwelling in the forest. Are they wild?

Yeah, they're mostly wild. Most farmers have cows or buffalo. Occasionally a bison can wander to chill with the cows but they're still wild and obey no one, haha.

Here's one making the cows look like goats.

wow, that is beautiful! where is this place?

Thanks, they're near the town of Kodaikanal in South India where I'm setting up our homestead.

It's always so wonderful when the kids play together and then the adults can talk and everyone is happy. It's worth the effort!

Indeed it is! Thanks for stopping by!!
