My only experience with persimmon trees is hating the texture of the fruit, the stench of the rotton fruit in my grandmother’s drive way and the cool seeds that when cut open have either a knife, fork or spoon inside that predict the severity of the coming winter.

I will try the tea though. I don’t care for hot tea. But I love iced tea, especially sun tea in warm weather. I make herbal tea, let it cool and add it to a glass of sun tea and enjoy it that way. :)
