She sheds? Like a Snake or like a Tarantula? :)
We think it is the chicken that went broody for a while. She stopped laying eggs but has just started again. This was the second one she laid.
Ouch!
I suspect that if you want to know which hen it was you should listen for the one who yells "YOLO" (you only live once) instead of clucking when she lays.
