I did a term on aquaponics in high school and did so well that one of the teachers marking the exam thought I cheated. I designed an ebb and flow aquaponics system for the exam.

In Australia tilapia are illegal to own because they breed so quickly. I like how you can have an aquaponics system in pretty much any shape or size depending on the type of fish. The best fish to use here would be barramundi they grow pretty big and you can eat them.

I tried making a small indoor aquaponics system at one point but I didn't have enough resources and money to complete it.
