Hello everyone, let’s talk about healing(s) derived from tree. Oh yes! I said tree not surprise I think?

Most of trees in our environment are useful and provide one healing in one way or the other which we often times don’t take note of. Most of these are even closer to us, but we take them for granted probably we don’t know, I guess.

Let’s talk about NEEM TREE , scientifically Azadirachta indica

In some African countries most especially Nigeria and Ghana . This tree is most useful because it cures and heal. Its potency in curing certain ailment over the years have attracted the attention of so many to it. Both individual and corporate bodies alike. The tree never fails in terms of its healing power, oh yes! All diseases I mean.

How does it look like?

This is the early age of the tree. It was transplanted to this location not up to a year. Suprised I said it was transplanted...hmmmm this is due to it’s usefulness. The tree can be as big as possible, can adapt to any environmental condition as well compete with any other tree in the forest or as the case may be.

Neem tree found growing in forest are usually very big than and gigantic than one can imagine depending on the number of year(s)of their existence.

Now to the main deal

This content will focus on the potency of Neem tree in healing. I will however still touch some part of the tree and what can actually be derive as a cure in it.

Neem Tree is a M evergreen, but in serious drought it may lose most or nearly all of its leaves. That’s if there is extreme dry season and rain seizure. The tree in such occassion experience little suddenness especially if it’s at early age: 1year to 4years. Neem tree is typically grown in tropical and semi-tropical regions, also in islands located in the southern part of Iran and mostly in African countries especially Nigeria and Ghana.

All part of Neem tree is 100% useful in terms of healing, cure and prevention of several diseases. Aside the health benefit of Neem, it’s useful in home care as well. This make Neem tree so unique.

Neem Kernels

The fruits of Neem has a hard seed, but is covered with a succulent back when fresh and prior to dryness, this seed more or less look like a kernel, the seed has a very high volume of protein and fat & oil. It mostly contain more than 63% of oil.
This oil is been derived through pressing and processing of the kernels of the seed, the end reault is Neem oil which is the product of Neem Tree.

In Some countries, the seed oil is been used for insecticide and it’s more effective, beside the oil is popular with organic gardeners. Apart from being used as insecticides, the oil is also a good ingredient for skin care products, I mean production of body creams, bathing soap anticeptics shampoos, lotions creams etc. From my research, The oil some times can be *TOXIC and therefore not adviceable to be taken as food.

Neem Leaves

The leave of Neem tree are mostly available which makes it so versatile. In African countries, Nigeria precisely, the leaves are almost everywhere and it’s not scarce to see or to use, hahaha, the leaves are wonderful and powerful. They contain all nutrients contained in the seed, but not as effective like the seed. It’s concentration is lower than that of the seed, the versatility of the leaves makes it to be available on its stems in year round but, unlike the seed that only appear during dry season.
Neem leaves serves the same purpose as the seeds, they are also use for medicinal purpose, production of skin care products....
It can be use either by chewing, soaking in water and drinking the water after the contents has been extracted.

The leaves help in:

supporting the liver
Cleaning of the blood
Help gastrointestinal system
Strengthening of the immune System and many more....

Neem Bark

The bark of the Neem tree is not as useful as the leaves and the seeds, this is because of the hardness and the difficulties in removing it from its mother. The back as well serves as the link which generate food to the tree, so it’s not advisable to separate it from the mother instead the leaves. Seeds, or the twig should be use. Once removed from the tree, it take more days to recover and which can bring staffing to the mother, though the back is highly nutritious and medicinal as such, it is usually recommended in the field of medicine specifcally DENTAl CARE It’s useful in treating tooth gum disease like Periodontal and dental-caries

Neem Twig

The twig of Neem tree is very good for chewing by adults. This can otherwise be used as a toothbrush. It really serves as a prevention of cavities and gum disease Amazingly Neem toothpaste was introduced to the market sometimes ago in some countries haven discovered its medicinal power.

Neem Flowers

Neem flowers is as conspicuous as diamond , the flower has a very good and nice aromatherapy which is been use in producing new perfumes, also bees are attracted by the flower because they suck the nectar in it. They feed on it and serve as nutrients also to them.

Home care

Aside from talking about the benefit of the Neem tree on health it is as well useful at home. Neem tree is demanding highly in some African countries...

Wood
The wood of the Neem tree is use for firewood in some rural places, the branches of Neem tree is been cutoff and when dried, people use it as a firewood which helps in cooking.

Wind breaker
The whole Neem tree is planted at the front, sides of the house which helps in withstnding heavy winds focusing the house which can on the other hand serve as a weapon of distruction and disaster.

Plank
Neem tree in the desert area are use as a plank which can otherwise be used especially when building house and other furniture need of the people.
