Homesteading What to do with expired products?
Let's discuss what to do with the expired products. Often we purchase overstock and realize that many have passed the expiry date and we can't consume them or use them. In such case we can use them differently. So let's take a look at some of the things we can do.

See if you can use the expired products in the following ways. I mostly use them for following usages.
- Hair shampoo can be used to clean the car, bike and windows after it passes the expiry date.
- Toothpaste can be used to clean the tiles of bathroom, wash basin and kitchen.
- Coke and soda drinks can be used to clean the toilet and the bathroom tiles.
- Face powder can be used for the carrom and other sports equipment. You can also use the powder to keep the ants away if you use it with other chemicals.
- Expired soup powders and cans can be used to prepare that food and let the wild feed on it. Though i don't recommend it, but it's better than seeing them starved.
- Expired medicines can be thrown in roots of the tree or small boxes where you plant seeds. Usually the medicines tend to help them instead of any harmful effect.
These are some of the things that I often do and it turns out it works for me. Let me know if you have your own ways of dealing with this.
