Homesteading How to Learn How to Make Your Own Soap

When you are living away from the city life. It helps if you can make your own soap and use them during the rainy season and the winter season. This way you don't end up with lack of stock during the days when you can;t go out and buy them ready-made. And it also gives you more self reliance.

So let's get started and build a soap for our daily usage.

Here are some of the things that you need for making the soap.

1. Melt and Pour Soap base
2. bowl
3. Soap fragrance oils
4. Measuring cup
5. Soap mold
6. Soap colorant

So let's get started, check the below instructions for the soap making.

1. Take a bowl and add the soap base cubes into it.
2. Put the bowl into the microwave and let the soap base melt to thick paste. Go for 2 minutes at first then do it till it reaches thick state. Repeat till the paste is thick
3. Take the soap fragrance and add it into the bowl. Stir it.
4. Now add the mixture into the soap mold. Be creative with the soap shapes so buy the soap mold that suits your creativity.
5. Once cooled down, you can remove the soap from the mold.
6. Store the soap in some sort of plastic container and make sure it is kept in dry place.
