Homesteading DIY : Making Greenhouse at Low Cost
When you want to do gardening and build greenhouse for some of your specific plants, it can get coslty if you don't pay attention to the small things. In such case building one greenhouse on low budget needs to be taken under construction. In this curation post, I am going to list some fo the post that can help you build greenhouse on low cost. I wanted to check on the pinterest if I can get cost-wise design listings. But most of the boards that I checked out had no such filter. So I had to randomly look for the cost based plans. And I found this one. This plan seems to be easy and can be fit into small backyard as well. It may be suitable for some of the herbs and also some of the plants that need protection from the pests. So do take a look at this design.

6.5 x 10 Greenhouse
Another good design where you can fit the greenhouse behind your house. Or you can adjust the greenhouse in a place where you can easily adjust the space. I think this can be surely worth for some of those who want to start the garden and are worrying about the dust and the pests around. It can be also good if you don't want neighbors intervention in your garden. As this design seems like pretty good for keeping things fit in small space.

These work great under certain circumstances and in certain areas. The only problems I have with these is one they won't usually withstand the 20+ mph winds we get here in the panhandle, they won't keep out pest like squirrels, rats, etc and the plastic covering is brittle and garbage after around a year in direct sunlight here. If you don't have any of those conditions then these cheap DYI greenhouses are fantastic. We had to opt for the polycarbonate that lock down and keep out pest, don't get ruined by direct sunlight and also we ran tie downs over the greenhouse to keep it in place in heavy winds. This has worked really well for us but you can also build many of those DYI greenhouses for the price of a polycarbonate one. The biggest benefit from this besides the ones stated before are time. I don't have to mess with resetting my greenhouse every time we have a storm and I don't have to worry about losing crops in heavy storms if the greenhouse does down but this is all based on your situation and what works best for you.
I think place with high wind it's hard to work out any greenhouse plans. Especially in places with chances of more rain. In such case only option is keeping few indoor plants.
