Yesterday I covered the Kitchener farmers market. And it was one of the old yet established farmers market. Today I want to cover one of the farmers market in new zealand. This farmers market in dunedin is worth taking a look at as they have started going digital with POS machines in the market.
What Otago Farmers Market is doing?

Otago Farmers Market is located in Northern Carpark Dunedin Railway Station, NZ. They have around 75 vendors stall in the market. The stalls have fruits and vegetables, meat products, eggs, baked goods, cheese, nuts, honey and artisan products, There are also the kitchen stalls where you can get the coffee and the breakfast food. The market seems to be going ahead with the time. And farmer stalls are now also accepting the POS machines. So people can now use debit and credit card. I am sure in few years they would also have the cryptocurrency.

Market is open every saturday from 8am – 12.30pm. And they also have the seasonal market run with specific food and the farmer produce.
They have also setup the merchandise section where they do sell mugs, apron, bags and wraps. They have an interesting setup for the farmers market with vibrant community that supports both farmers and quality for consumers.
You can read more about the farmers market here. You can also check out their facebook page. And they also have the instagram account.
What do you think about these farmers market? Do you have one in your region? Let me know in the comments.
