You've dove d great job at making my mouth water! Have you tried something similar with burdock? We grew some japanese Gobo (cultivated burdock) and it would be great in a dish like this.

:) No I have not but that's a great idea! I love burdock but have not found enough for significant usage this year. This fall I was able to harvest enough to make a 1 qt tincture, and I am saving seeds to grow burdock in my future garden! Thanks for the suggestion. I will have to make a note to try Japanese Gobo as well as I am not familiar with it yet.
