Great informative article on our beloved plantain. Fantastic for cuts and burns. We planted a relative this year known as erba stella cultivated from Italy! It's crisper and thinner and not so stringy. Delicioso!
I will see if I can find a source. I have TONS of the long leaf growing in my back yard. I could probably harvest 10 bushels or more if I wanted, but I don't really like the taste and the stringiness. If I can find some, maybe I can help it take over.
