Hey Zac...I have 2 points...
1 - As soon as you were starting to talk about the chickens I was waiting for it...than you NAILED it. The banning of ALL backyard chickens to protect the children! Yep, can SO see that happening!
2 - I am in Illinois, you can mark me down as another person you know that is stuck here, for now! High taxes and ridiculous laws. I looked up an article I remembered from earlier this year and it said..."An economist at the Illinois Policy Institute said last year 7 people left the state every day. And it's the high tax burden that's pushing people out. They're going to surrounding states that have better numbers for their pocket books. The institute said if the state continues down this path, it could be detrimental." I also found where it said that from 1995-2009 Illinois lost 1 person every 10 minutes!
Yup they can leave their liberal ways where they leave!
Sadly, they bring their brainwashing with them! They seem to have learned Nothing, SMH!

How exactly could Ill. penalize you for trying to leave the state? We live in MN, and my husband said if it weren’t for him farming, we wouldn’t be here. So why can’t he just get out of farming and we move elsewhere? That’s a good question.
They hold your life hostage. If you need to move, and you have equity in your house of $75,000; and no one will buy your house, you are stuck. The only way you can leave, is to walk away from your equity. A lot of people, with little equity, have already done that.
You can get a free house in Chicago, just to move into it; from the city, for back taxes!
That is what I always said about the Californian succession movement and the boarder wall, "let California succeed and in a year they will be building a wall to keep people in" Haha ;)
Wow. NC (my state) is really "winning it" this week! As the proliferation of ignorance towards REAL LIFE increases -- widening the gap of true knowledge, such articles and "problems" will continue to shock these sheltered sheeple. shakes head
I'm in Texas and the concern that I have is that a lot of the people moving here from California are leftists relocating because their jobs moved here, and they are bringing their politics with them.
A flock of chickens gives you options you would not have otherwise. OF COURSE the Liberals want this resource shut down, you must be bee 100% dependent so they can control you! These are the same scum vermin that are trying to outlaw gardens; for the same reasons.

Yes several years ago they were pushing hard to outlaw private gardens. They had a song and dance, buy basically it was the ultimate power grab! Control at any price, SMH!
