The Mega-cchini
Since it's been cooling down at night to the point the squash stopped producing, I decided to pull the plants out and prep the bed for some winter veggies.
Then I found it.
The Monster. Almost as long as a black lab.
Weighed more than a cat. Dark green all around, no yellowing whatsoever.
And the inside? Not super seedy which was a huge surprise. Tender and delish when grilled with a drizzle of olive oil, a dusting of sea salt and fresh ground pepper.
