A tale of backyard duckies

A friend of mine had an excess of ducklings, courtesy of her flock. I helped decrease the numbers by rehoming four of them.

We converted the fenced in garden area into a place for the ducks to grow in, and help keep them safe from cats. There's avian netting over the area, and a retro-fitted, straw filled dog crate for a coop.

They love purslane put into their tub as a midswim treat.

The goal? Nurse them to adulthood so the can eat all the bugs which nibble on my garden.
