Camp Cabin #13

So, tomorrow we are heading out to the camp Cabin. It has been an incredibly busy year for me! My Mom had an accident. I've already put in two gardens, one very late, due to inattention while caring for my Mom. Then there were the regular summer activities, camp, VBS, garden maintenance, and harvest. Not to mention, I have a growing family, which added two brand new members this year, bringing us to 19 in all! So there has not been much time for the camp Cabin.

However, now that we will be headed into fall, I plant to a big push to get it finished. So what needs to be done. The roof needs a final sealing. The back door needs to be built, and mounted. The front door cut out, built, and installed. It needs Tyvek, and siding. It needs insulation, and flooring. The floor must be installed. The walls finished as well as the ceiling. The woodstove must be installed, and all cabinets, shelves, and furniture, built and installed!

In addition, I have numerous outdoor projects to work on, fire pit, patio, wash station, shower, and potty, raised beds, trees removed, and a beginning outdoor kitchen for next summer!

So what is happening tomorrow? Building a door, and sealing the roof, killing the wasps, and installing the door on it's hinges! Also hubby will likely cut a tree that fell about four feet away from the back door! Not to mention, knocking the poison ivy down again with a how! Ha! We'll see how far we make it! Of course, I will let you all in on the fun!

In the meantime, here is a pick of a tree that I found today. I'm thinking it is Sassafras. What do y'all think??? If so, it is rare around these parts. Are there any look alikes for Sassafras?
