I was just thinking of digging mine up tomorrow.. I might have waited to long, but I've had a big ole layer of hay on top of mine... keep ya posted, I think that is just perfect how you stored them unless you get like 20 below or something....

oh yeah, and sawdust or dried cedar chips are good for storing spuds and sunchokes too :)
