Working Our Way Up - Hitting 750 SP and Making Our Way Towards 1000!
I’m very excited to announce we are well on our way to reaching our goal of reaching 1000 Steem power - we have accumulated 750 so far! I don’t think that’s too shabby for only 2 months of activity!
Our goal is to power up all Steem and SBD rewards until we reach at least 1000 SP (in order to secure the future of the account) so we are 3/4 there! Then we will be able to use the SBD directly for projects at the homestead and really start progressing! I’m very excited to see what we can accomplish so thank you to everyone who has upvoted, resteemed, donated, and supported!
We’ve made great progress in the garden so far and have cut some of the fallen trees from the yard. All this was done with personal funds and manual labor… I can’t wait to see what we can accomplish when we start funneling our rewards into the projects as well! Please continue to support me as we move forward together!

Hey there, welcome to Steemit! I suggest posting regularly, at least once or twice a day, and commenting on other people's articles with genuine responses - stuff like "follow me and like my post" are usually ignored or flagged! Otherwise, power up some of your Steem and SBD rewards to increase your SP! That's what I'm doing at least! Best of luck!
Ok thank you for the tips. I try to post once a day and re-esteem the posts that I like. I guess I will get the hang of this eventually. :) What does power up mean?
I suggest resteeming only a few articles at a time... most people want to see original content! I try to resteem only one article per week about. You'll definitely get the hang of it! Also, power up means to turn your "Steem" into "Steem Power." Steem Power essentially makes your account more "powerful," so your up votes on articles will be worth more, etc. You are able to cash out Steem whenever you want but Steem Power needs to be "powered down" back into Steem before changing it. Congratulations! At least 500 is mine (for the slider so I can vote more people more often!) and then some can go towards homestead goals! 1000 is a great goal too!! Woohoo!
