Nice weather for a duck.
Pretty common saying where I grew up in reference to lots of rain. Like most good phrases I believe this one is rooted in truth. When its cold and sleeting ice. Our ducks just go about doing ducky stuff. Weather just does not get them down. They go about the business of laying eggs and mucking up water.

They are. Scovy eggs taste less eggy than chicken eggs to me. Scovy is a red meat. Taste more veal than duck.
Could not agree more. A duck is about the only thing enjoying this weather;)
