It’s been a busy month on the plot with lots of little jobs to do. I found two wooden frames at the bins and took them to the allotment. I’ll fill in the sides and line them and paint. I’m not sure what I will grow in them yet. I was thinking that Spring had sprung but then I hear on the news Winter is back next week and it’s going to turn snell.

I got down to the plot the other night to find a bit of felt had blown off the shed so I got that fixed. I’ve been away a lot this month and something I always do on the train is Plot Spot, it’s amazing just how many allotment sites there are across Britain.

I know a lot of people find the allotment dull this time of year but I find getting down there first thing and catching the best of the sun helps. I can’t wait to start sowing seeds.
