Troy Reid says he is 95% off grid, yet he has a large older fridge that probably consumes about 2 KWhr per day. Despite what he says, he is not running it on solar as he has no batteries and his puny solar wouldn’t even start the compressor, if it was connected that is. His claim of 95% off grid is a lie, it more accurate to say they are 95% ON grid.
95% off the grid, you know he has not even ran wire from the solar panels to the shed, so basically his solar is not even 2% yet.
Oh, by the way, please do tell me how the wood shop is powered? I mean if there are NO wires going to it then how is it powered?

Well your the so called solar expert, but we all believe that you are running an extension cords from the main house to your wood shop to get power.
In the past 5 years you never had any success with solar and always killed your batteries in the winter by leaving them undercharged and in the elements and cold, you should have learned by now what kills a battery.

Yes my track record is pretty good. As you know since your friends have turned me in again and again for every possible violation you could think of.
And guess what? Always squeaky clean :)
Never been fined for any violations although the inspectors have been here and in Pine Bush many times.
Now as to the solar panels, well, they are just fine and legal.
The reason you came out clean is you never took a permit, cause you never completely set up your solar. and thats the proof

Lost power here today a few times on and off. Guess what? Did not bother us because we have solar power. And battery backups.
So, no matter how often you deny it, we are using solar power.

There is another perfect example. You have seen me set up the entire system. Now who on earth would spend all that money to buy solar panels, batteries, charge controller, wire and all - and make videos of it - and not hook it up?

@gilholey As everyone can see, it is impossible to have a rational discussion with Troy Reid. Maybe he misdirects, deflects and obfuscates on purpose, in the hope that his critics will give up in exasperation from trying to argue with someone who presents himself as such an idiot.
In reality Troy can't understand, he reads but does not understand what it actually says, Troy has a learning disability, My guess he just scraped through high school. He reads and comprehends at about a 8th grade level. If you converse with him more you will understand.
