(HIGAD)CATTERPILLAR OF MASSACHUSSETS/NOT GOOD TO YOUR PLANTS
Hello steemers,
As a continuation of my Mealworms post.
Ive just collected some catterpillars of massachusets or what we called here in Philippines (HIGAD)from our plants a while ago.
Unlike the mealworms,
These catterpillars are basically can be seen in trees, plants, flowers and any other growing things inside your backyard.
These kind of pillars are one of the most destructive pests or one of a mortal enemy of your plants.
And unlike the mealworms that is not harmful.
Higad is also harmful when one part of your body is contacted with its hairy fur.
The effect of its hairy fur to you is that your skin will be continously itchy, but dont scratch it.
The remedy to its itchy hairy fur is you need to drip some vinegar on affected area and then wait for the itch to be lessen,
Always becareful when touching insects like these.
But eventough its harmful to plants and to you,
Eventually it will be a beauty of nature because it will be the one to be a cocoon, and then after weeks it will be a beautiful butterfly.
Hope you like it
