INTRODUCING HOP FARM'S NEW MEMBERS OF THE MOUSE SQUAD!

I made a post 8 days ago showing y'all that are outdoor cat whiskers was pregnant and about ready to pop.

Well when we woke up this morning we couldn't find whiskers. I went about my morning chores and fed the pigs the Ducks and the chickens. After the animals were fed I went back to try to find whiskers.

My wife made a nice comfy bed for whiskers in the closet on our side porch. Hoping she would deliver there. Whiskers had been spending most of her time in there the past few days but of course she didn't have her litter of kittens in the bed made for her. She found an empty box in the corner of the closet to deliver her babies.

We were hoping for a small litter. With this being whiskers first letter and her being a small cat we we're thinking she'd only have a few. Well she had five!!

A little more than we had wanted but they're all healthy and whiskers is being a great mama.

When I found whiskers she was exhausted and wet. Her babies were laying on her stomach suckling. She was holding them in her arms and purring very loudly.

When whiskers saw me she attempted to stand up but she was still too weak at the time and her legs were very shaky.

Whiskers had no problem with me handling her kittens. She did a great job at cleaning her babies up and cleaning up the birthing process. When I found her there was nothing left to show for it besides a wet mama and wet kittens.
