House update; The electrical poles have been installed...
Bright and early the electric company showed up to install our electrical poles. It was cool seeing the big bucket truck out here on the mountain in the middle of nowhere like this.
I didn't get over to the house in time to see them drilling the holes with that huge drill they have attached but I did get these awesome pics. Things are getting excited now! We should have our electricity hooked up soon. Won't be long before Bridget and I will be moving in with baby Maverick. YAY!
This view here is from our front door looking out. Our house was just a little over 300 feet from the road so the electric company would only put the pole with the meter where it is at. So we had to dig a trench from the pole to the house so we can connect the rest of the wire hooking up the rest of our electricity. For now it is almost done. The trench is about 50 feet or so because it goes all the way under the house to get to the breaker.
Slowly but surely we are getting done. Right now we think we are a month away from moving in. That is a hopeful estimation anyways. We were hoping the house would be done before Bridget goes back to work so we could get settled in with baby Maverick. Oh well. Like anything else, a house is just a hole you throw money into and it gets done when it gets done.

Actually no, they didn't put in a light. Which is good because we wanted to put up our own light that we can control.
