A Galliform is a classification of a heavy-bodied bird, with four-toed feet, and accustomed to life on the ground. Turkeys, chickens, guinea fowl, grouse, partridge, quail, pheasant, peafowl, etc. are considered Galliforms. According to Wikipedia, there are 290 species in this group.
