Just saw this series of yours and have been catching up. I've wanted to take up beekeeping for several years now. Especially since there are worries about their long term health with empty hive syndrome becoming prevalent. I've just never had the courage to undertake getting started. Happily, a church a couple blocks away has started two hives which I go by daily and from time to time will stop and just watch the bees working.
