RE: Natural Fly Control on the Farm!!!

We've put up a few bluebird boxes, but we are just a tiny farm. We also have a 105' x 30' bat house. AKA our barn. We have little brown bats that have survived the white nose disease that come back each year. They are our main bug control.

For fly control we've used Jerry Brunetti's Fly Be Gone with great success. It is merely a precise mix of minerals, that's all. We figure whatever the cows don't utilize will be re-mineralizing the soil, so it's a win-win-win situation.

Those are both great ideas

We have fruit bats that fly all over our trees here and eat up a lot of bugs and also smaller shreech owls. These really decimate the bug population here along with we have thousands of little green anole lizard that during the day are all over the place eating bugs. I am going to check out the fly be gone also though since we do get a few flies on our cattle in the padlocks. Thanks for the info.
