On Steemit stackin' up paper...haha toilet paper
There are a great many things you learn while homesteading, one is to be prepared. This is especially true when you live a good distance to town and it is Christmas day
Tip of the day
When you are preparing for a wonderful holiday event never forget the basics. When you are planning festivities that are alittle more elaborate than usual, don't forget the little things.
Survival skills
Today I am going to talk about using printer paper as toilet paper. This is normally very stiff and rigid, but with a little attention can be soft enough to cuddle.
Step one
Crinkle paper in your hands. This will break the fibers in the paper and start to soften it up.
Repeat.
Crinkle time will depend how crunchy of a homesteader you are.
Step two
Give it to your wife.
This willing be a kind loving gesture, and possibly pass as an additional Christmas gift.
Step three
Next holiday double check your supply of toilet paper before all the stores close.
I hope you enjoyed this but of perspective! Merry Christmas!
I grew up in Appalachia and we said more than once that the Sears Wish Book had more than one purpose. ;) I've had to resort to using those horrid tissue squares from MREs, too. Now the first thing I stock up on is toilet paper. Someday when I die, my children will have to come together with trailers to split up the toilet paper that will be bequeathed to them!
Hahahaha
