Those that know me very well or those that have read my blog couple of times and most especially my followers will know that i am a farmer. I manage my mums farms. I rear animals and sometimes we plant. I rear mainly pigs but we have goats too. I just bought some turkeys and chickens recently.

Its unfortunate that i lost all the turkeys and chickens i bought at a time to one stupid animal in the rat family called Asin in my language. It ate all of them at that time. I was down but i knew it was not the end of life. I bought some more but this time i have them in an enclosure.(Will write about it in the next post)

I know i have not been blogging about my farm of recent and there is a reason for that. Things are not going well in the farm.

Feeding pigs is very expensive as they tend to eat a lot. Well that is not enough reason to say things are not going well as it is meant to be a business. The money realized after the whole sales is always not worth it. The farm is not that big to always have pigs to sell so we have to always rear them for a while before selling or we wait for a sow to deliver and we sell the piglets. Thats business though.

The main reason why i am down is because there is a lot of renovation that needs to be done on the farm. We have some damaged pens, doors, floors e.t.c. It is actually very difficult with the present situation on my Beloved country. Things are very expensive here. The cost of repair will make one want to run away from the business.

I know it is just a matter of time. Things will surely get better.

Its so sad yhu know but its cool though. I believe something will be done. Just that i dont know how soon.
