Someone did the math, and apparently its more cost effective to spend money on more panels instead of tracking systems.. and no maintenance issues!
Also, i just bought a really good super cheap sealed charge controller on ebay. It is completely waterproof and can even be used outside.. might be worth considering as most of my old cheap ones used to break because they got mould, cobwebs and stuff in the electrics..
Thanks for sharing the link thats cheap for a fully sealed regulator ill keep it in mind. Id been reading similar research on the effiency of tracking set ups and i think ill end up going for manual one to be honest and get another 40w panel to mount on the shed instead. 👍
