Cleaning my yard/ Listen to music/ Cook for today / Art - multi-tasking

Hello steemit and homesteaders! A good day to all of you! I'll start my beautiful morning with a hot coffee, right here beside our vegetable bed (me and @mama-imee re-built the old bed to new one) its a very beautiful sight to my eyes, i hope they grow fast! I cant wait to harvest and taste it.

Its been raining a couple of months ago, i noticed our yard was full of grasses and all kinds of weeds, its very untidy to look at. Since the sky is clear of rain clouds and it looks like not going to rain the whole day, i better start putting out the unwanted grasses and weeds.

put in my black rain boots (protection from red ants bite, i think there is an ant colony at the center grassy area) got my 3yrs old grass cutter and a rake here.

Before i start my work, i've set my phone in youtube and play some "violin covers", i really love this kind of music, im inspired working while listening all the violin musics.

Here are some of the violin musicians that i always listened on.

Im not done yet, its 10:30am, i have to check whats in for lunch, and im dead tired, my back is aching (i admit, too old now i cant stand a long time with my head/body bent forward pulling out this weeds).

This time, i will be the one to cook for our lunch, and my menu for today is "pork adobo ala @dwightjaden". My daughter @jeseemei favorite, she really loves my cooking style 😊.

Preparing the ingredients

Ingredients

1 kl pork belly
3 pcs garlic, minced or crushed
1 small ginger, minced
1 onion, minced
vinegar
potatoes
soy sauce
1 tbsp powder pepper
1 knorr pork cubes
1 cup water
salt and sugar to taste

Instructions

Heat the pot and put-in the pork belly, add small amount of water then cook untill tender and golden brown.
put the minced garlic, add vinegar then bring to a boil. Add the minced ginger, stir, add soy sauce. Bring to boil, add the potato, put the pork cubes, pepper, small amount of sugar and salt to taste. Put in the minced onion.
Simmer for 5 minutes to 10 minutes untill potato cooked.

After an hour. Im back again in my cleaning task.

Now, it looks clean than before.

Its almost dark, but im not done yet.

I've got callows in my fingers, after using bare hands pulling weeds, i'll buy hand gloves for protection next time, since i have to finish some part that still have grasses and weeds.

A butterfly with a color of black & white, appeared flying around me while im walking towards the house. Its colors reminds me about my pencil drawings, so seeing this butterfly inspired me to draw it.

My Art "A Beautiful Butterfly"

Steemit and homesteader friends, i hope you will like this simple pencil drawing of mine.

Process

I've already drew the butterfly body here, and the left wing almost half done. I use 0.5 mechanical pencil for the whole image, use 7b for shading, a cotton bud for blending shade and also use it for light shading.

Finished the left wing.

Draw the right wing.

And its done!

I want my butterfly to flap it wings like it is... alive, with a little upgrade and a gif will do the trick.

Process

I use a small cutter here, to cut the two wings only. (body not included).

Done the cut out of both wings.

I also draw at the back of its wings to make it more realistic.

I cut this white paper to cover the cut out of butterfly, then inserted it under as shown in the photo.

Then photograph 6 pictures of it, using my home made cp holder for making gif.

I really felt excitement about this beautiful butterfly, i guess, the reason is its my first time making this art kind of 3d.
