Dorper sheep, rotational grazing and tree felling.
This week we went and picked up our newest team members here at Duck Ponds Farm, 4 Dorper sheep. We have 3 ewes and a ram. I also explain why we want to rotationally graze our animals and the benefits we hope to see. There was also a small issue in the fruit orchard that needed addressing.
Thanks for watching.

Right on for sheep!!! We expect our first sheep (two lambs, wethers) in two weeks. It's a mad dash here to get everything done in time! Fence done, now to shelters and such. Congrats!!
Thank you. It is a mad dash hey. You'll probably still find things you wish you had set up differently. We are making our laneway wider this week as the sheep are a little scared to use it.
