What you mean switch them? Move them to another location and keep them separated, then bring them back 2 years later? Or are they retired from laying eggs?
Great question! After they turn two, we retire them from laying. The reason is because these breeds start to slack off laying after a period of time (usually around the two year mark), so that is why we always retire the older ones. They will continue to lay for awhile, but you may not get an egg everyday.
