Wine disaster update 🙃
Well if you saw one of my last posts you would of seen that i was in the process of having an issue with the airlock having wine it. Due to a release of pressure.
As i expected this didnt stop and ended up leaking all down the side of demijohn.... 😣
This is what i ended up having to do.
I managed to force my siphon tube into the bung and ran it into another bottle with water in, this attempt seems to be holding out ok and the amount of fluid leaking out seems to be subsiding. Turns out i must of disturbed an load of sugar in the demijohn when i moving it about and it lead to a sudde increase in fermentation.
Well both the red wine and the elderflower and still bubbling away nicly and will need another 4 days before ill check what stage of the process they are in and if i need to rack them for storage.
