Good day steemians,it is a beautiful day again and i hope we are all doing well in our various place of work. Today i will be writing briefly on the reasons why we need a garden in our homes.Growing up as a child i knew my mother as a lover of flowers,she used to grow different flowers and fruits in our compound and the sight of the garden was so beautiful, i remember going there with my friends to pluck flowers and fruits.

Quickly let's look at the definition of a garden, A Garden can be defined as a piece of land used for growing plants, trees and flowers ,also the process of removing the weeds is called gardening.

Some of the reasons for having a garden are listed below:

• YOU HAVE ACCESS TO HEALTHY FOOD,YOU KNOW WHAT IS IN YOUR GARDEN AND IF IT IS GOOD FOR CONSUMPTION YOU ALSO GET FRESH FOOD FROM YOUR GARDEN WHICH IS SAFE

• HAVING A GARDEN AND GOING THROUGH THE GARDENING PROCESS HELPS TO REDUCE STRESS,IT ALSO HELPS TO REDUCE BLOOD PRESSURE. RESEARCH SHOWS THAT ONE CAN BURN 200-300 CALORIES AN HOUR BY JUST GARDENING

• GARDEN SAFES A LOT OF MONEY,WHEN YOU HAVE LITTLE VEGGIES LIKE VEGETABLES AND ONIONS UT SAVES CASH YOU DON'T NEED TO GO OUT TO GET IT

• GARDEN HELPS TO STAY IN TOUCH WITH NATURE,I AM SURE MOST OF US LOVES THE SIGHT OF BEAUTIFUL FLOWERS,SO NOW HOW ABOUT BRINGING NATURE TO YOUR BACKDOOR

• A GARDEN ALSO PROVIDES A PLACE FOR US TO SPEND OUR PERSONAL TIME JUST LIKE A ZOO OR CINEMA OR ANY OTHER PLACE YOU CAN GO AND RELAX,THE GARDEN CAN ALSO SERVE THIS PURPOSE.MERE LOOKING AT THIS FLOWERS THOUGHTS CAN FLOW IN YOUR MIND
