Homemade Flatbread
Main Ingredients
2 cups whole wheat flour
1 cup cornmeal
1 cup water
1/4 cup olive oil
1 teaspoon baking power
1/2 teaspoon salt
Optional Ingredients
Chia seeds
Milled flaxseeds
Garlic powder
Ginger powder
Sesame seeds
Directions
- Mix all ingredients well and let it sit for 1/2 hour.
- Knead the dough for at least 10 minutes.
- Divide the dough to small balls about 1 1/4 inches in diameter.
- Roll the ball flat and start cooking it on a heated skillet until brown spots showing up.
- Flip to another side and finish it.
