Renegade Homestead Update - Some Progress Finally! 😀
As usual, life has been busy but we all need a break some time. This weekend, Aimee and I paused for just a little bit to find some time to visit old friends. However, we still needed to set aside some time to take care of one important step in our homestead build.
The hole for the foundation will be dug in about a week! Yes, you read that right, we are finally making, what seems like, real progress. We don't have a permit in hand just yet but we are confident it will arrive by early next week so we have booked both the foundation pour and the framing into the schedule!
Aimee liked this photo for some reason.....With these steps scheduled, we needed to take a last look at the property and decide where the corners of our house will be. We picked our location and marked it with stakes. We made sure to position the house to leave ample room for future development also. Our little daughter R even helped us with our task while H had a nap in the van.
