Today on 2 Minutes with the Farmer join me for a tour of the walnut hulling station. This is our sixth load we have hauled in to the hulling station. We are all starting to see walnuts in our dreams.

I thought the Amish didn't use machines unless they were horse powered?
That is a LOT of work!
It is different for different areas. The Amish our day here can use gas powered machines just nothing with wheels

Well the trees did not produce near as much as last year. We are going to get as much as we can. Hopefully around 10,000 lbs
haha! howdy Farmer! yeah when you said you were going to video the operation I was thinking those Amish aren't going to allow that!
I don't know any that would. But the harvest goes on and you guys are doing great with it. Only 2 more weeks of painstaking, back-breaking labor! lol.
We are starting to run low on walnuts. Last year we had a lot more. We will see how long we can go before we run out.
