2 Minutes with the Farmer: Surprise Calf on the Farm!!!
Today on 2 Minutes with the Farmer we had a special surprise calf born. We had a 4 year old cow that had never had a calf before that surprised us with a beautiful heifer calf. It is always a good surprise to have an unexpected healthy calf.

howdy there Farmer! what a blessing that surprise calf is, is the cow one that you had tested awhile back for pregnancy?
We tested her twice and the vet just missed her

It is actually good news for both of them because we will keep them now;)
Are you going to keep her a while for nursing, or is she still going into the freezer?
We will keep her and try and breed her again. She has escaped the butcher block for now;)
