2 Minutes with the Farmer: Taking out the Bulls!!!
Today on 2 Minutes with the Farmer join me as we take the bulls out of the cow herd. We leave the bulls with the cows for 60 days then we take them out. 45 days from now the vet will come and pregnancy check the cows and we will see how the bulls did.

Seems like that would be very tough to do. I assume you had their horns cut off? The unpregnant cows go to slaughter?
The bulls are naturally polled(no horns). We take the not pregnant ones to a local cattle auction. Thanks for watching
howdy this fine Sunday night sir bowentroyer! where to those bulls go now and when do they come back, do you have a standing arrangement with the owner?
The owner can be a really hard to work with. I wait the owner is me;) we keep them up by the barn separated from all the other cows. In October we will put them back out with another set of cows. So now they just eat grass and get fat
ha! oh man, I thought you were like renting them for stud work from someone else. Ok so by the time they get close to the cows again they'll be very anxious to go! great strategy Farmer!
