I read online that they are...also that they're "flighty". None of my chickens from last year are leghorns, so it's kind of an experiment :)
It is a fun experiment! I am still looking to see what breed of chickens we will get. Doing lots of research and not just jumping in like most people do and not know anything. It is an animal and you need some knowledge to be responible for that animal.
What was important to me was getting breeds that are more Heritage types. Leghorns have been around awhile!
