Today I present the development of a very colorful bathroom set. The bathroom sets are very requested by housewives to decorate our home: when we start a job we work in our minds the model, the combination of colors and the type of fabrics we can use, until then we can only see it in our minds and have to trust in what we want to do.

Materials

• Half a metre of main fabric
• Half a metre of fabric with taffeta lining
• Wadding
• League
• 1.5 meters of bias
• Ribbon to decorate

Step by step

Although the process is extensive, I will try to explain it as simply as possible, I hope you understand me.

Copy pattern from toilet lid and tank lid

We take the patterns from the toilet lid and tank lid over the wadding, put some pins to prevent it from moving, and cut.

For the faralao we cut a strip of 2.20 cm x 12 cm and another strip of 2.20 cm x 6 cm.

We make the arruche system, passing zigzag over a tapestry thread without stepping on it. Once the arruche system is made, we pull the ends of the upholstery threads to pull the faralao.

We place the faralao around the lid of the toilet and distribute in equal parts, then we basteamos the faralao inside and pass straight seam.

Prepare a strip of unicolored fabric or main fabric 1.10 cm long by 13 cm wide.

Suffice it first this strip on the faralao and we pass again sewing, but you want to pass sewing you can leave it like this until the next step.

Place the piece of taffeta lining, and pass straight seam leaving open the straight part that is where we are going to turn.

Now we are finishing, turn the piece and place bias and the league as you can see in the image.
