STEEM MEET UP AT THE HOMESTEAD
MY FIRST EVER STEEM MEETUP
And it was completely awesome! Next week I will be driving a few hundred miles to deliver some goods to an amazing group of people. I'll also be having a second Steem meetup in the process, as I will be meeting up with @makinstuff and the tinkertribe. But....that is a story for a later blog.
THE SUPERB @KOH
*Sorry for the fuzzy picture.😁
This gentleman and I hooked up in (I believe) the Palnet discord...as he was looking for someone with a truck. After a short talk we decided not only to work together at getting some stuff moved, but also we decided to hang out for a day before we transport the needed item. And what better way to hangout then to just have a relaxing day at the homestead?
...Yep, a nice peaceful day in the middle of nowhere...that's my favorite way to kill a day. So, I ventured into Missouri, to his new k of the woods and picked him up. It was a great time getting to know him as we drove the couple of hours to the homestead.
SOME GOOD FINDS
I showed him around the place and as I was giving the tour we came across a motel mushroom and we are that sucker. It was the first time he had eaten one and he said he enjoyed it.
We also took a look at some Bloodroot, a native plant in my area that is good for alot of things. It can help with everything from fungus problems on your skin to skin cancer itself. A very useful plant. It gets its name from the fact it's roots look like they are bleeding if you break one...
- Bloodroot compared to @koh's real blood.😁😁 Not,sure how he did it,but he managed to rip himself open.
GOTTA RIDE THE FOUR WHEELER
That's right...what trip to the homestead would be complete without running the four wheeler around.
- A game of chase between @koh and our dog Evil...
*Running the girl through the woods.
