Spring Cleaning, Brooms and Wrenches

Spring has arrived and with it, the annual job of cleaning out all the debris of winter. The chimney needs to be swept, the wood stove needs to be cleaned, the house needs to be swept and mopped, the kitchen needs to be scrubbed top to bottom and that's just the beginning of the list if things that need doing inside the house!

Outside the house, we need to finish repairing the farm truck, we are stuck waiting for parts to arrive inbthe mail, fix the rototilker, finish building raised beds for planting, prune the trees in the orchard, period the house and finish building the extension on the smithy.i know it sounds like a lot of work, maybe even an overwhelming amount, but I have to tell you, I am super excited to get started! This is going to be an amazing year! We are expanding our efforts, expanding our food production, bringing even more top quality produce to market and pushing even further then we have in the past.

We have huge goals for our community outreach work this year too. Already we are up 985% for our fund raising from last year and we are hoping to keep that number growing.
