Homeschooling is a massive decentralization movement

Homeschooling is a world-wide movement gathering momentum and is part of the ongoing decentrolution.

According to the Digest of Education Statistics, in America between 2003 and 2012 there has been an additional 667,000 students being homeschooled.  This represents a 63% increase in the number of students being homeschooled during this time for a total estimate of 1.77 million students.

This is an undeniable unwinding of the centralized efforts to 'educate' our children.  The news Decentro has seen regarding the scrambled mess math education is in due to common core, makes this math teacher want to rage.  The education system is currently struggling to fully justify its legitimacy in this rapidly decentralizing world.

The natural reaction to the outdated increasingly centralized mode, of course is the homeschooling of children.

Having recently retired from public sector teaching to teach my own kids - Decentro can strongly indicate that homeschooling is an ultimate act of decentralization a main pillar of civilization: Education.

On the homeschooling front, Decentro plans to start a business with 10 year old, and trade cryptocurrencies to learn percentage change mathematics.   The spawn of Decentro will be smart and understand the blockchain.  No school can do this - only Decentro can!

Homeschooling, unschooling, and also "open source education" are all great movements. Also look into Trivium.

Trivium looks very interesting - the focus seems to be on the spirit of question within us all.
