"Santa Monica Home Of The Homeless."

Writing has never been my forte in the past, but here goes nothing. I was into taking pictures and video that too has taken the back burner for the past decade.
At 43 I'm married and have three kids, over worked and a lot fatter. Two Daughters 11 and 3 my angels and a son who is one month old, my main man.
My first effort here on steemit is to try to go out of my way and have fun again. Telling stories through still and motion pictures. I will dedicate and my graveyard shift in the sunny southern Cali city of Santa Monica or so fondly known as "Santa Monica home of the homeless."(Harry Shearer coined the phrase)
I will try to give you a thin slice of the life and times of the characters in my little bubble some will be open like books blown wide open by the city's cool breeze.
This little city by the beach that's vastly liberal has had a lot of changes in last 15 years, the homeless have enjoyed free range in the past with social services, food and even low- income housing.
Developers have been busy the past ten years with the redevelopment of the entire city, what was once a small quiet beach city is now a tourist destination. At the peak of the housing recession, Santa Monica was the only city nationwide to break ground on commercial buildings. All this brought the rise of transients
