What if: We could give homeless people a steemit account somehow
Whenever I speak with homeless people I learn so much interesting things about life. I wonder how that wisdom would work on steemit.
Even though some of them are great scammers... But they would not be the first on steemit, right?

Lots of homeless people are very intelligent cause most of them has greater experiences in life and they can contribute immensely to the development of the world at large... Thumbs up on this post..
But then the question arises how to give them a voice, how to get them connected.
First of all they don't have internet, smartphone, laptop. In a way they have more privacy then us since they never where online. So maybe they are better off without the net.
But still I would like to get more insights on their view on the world. And I would not mind to upvote their writings.
For the genuine ones, of which there are many, this would be fantastic. For those that are not they might be able to learn from the steemit community and appreciate the art of giving as opposed to taking. Peace.
Even those who piss every penny back against the wall they should have the option to spew their frustrations somewhere where the whole world can see it. And of course also the genuine everyday stuff they deal with.

Maybe someone could build steemless.com for the homeless without phones and internet.
The more i think about it the more i'm convinced that we should put more brainpower in this. It would be a real accomplishment if we could figure out a way to get people on here that nobody would expect.

write more articles about it?
make technology available to people that are left behind by society.
create open wifi networks
Make steemit better so that people don't need a phonenumber/smartphone to be able to take part.
Look what obstacles exist and think of ways to get rid of those.
make this list bigger, more articles, find homeless people who want to give this a try.
etc.
What can you think of? Just give it a go. Write it, try it. Even if you fail then you at least know what didn't work. Share the results, try someting new.

hey I'm technically homeless and I'm on Steemit! LOL some of us are on here! but on a serious note the rising rent prices, requiring of sparkling credit scores in order to obtain a rental unit in combination with the skyrocketing cost of living is a SERIOUS issue.
but I totally see your true meaning behind this post - sorry didn't mean to make a joke of your post I think it's a very important post and I love when I see people want to understand and help the homeless - great job and you have a good heart my friend!

our society is the joke... Even a platform like this doesn't seem to be able to leave no-one behind. And again it's the money that makes the split.

yup money is the driving force and the defining point for most people. It's sad.. so sorry for your bandwidth issues - that is a pain in the ass.. I hope someone who knows about it can fix it!

It sure can be fixed. IF someone is aware of it...
That leaves me with HOPE. But thats not enough. I need feedback that this is either being fixed or proof in human language that it is a non issue.
