Nature is Amazing

How can something grow out of nothing much more than water and sun? It’s insane, fantastic, fascinating and awesome!

I get that when you put some seeds into a soil, water it and give it sun, it gets what it needs to grow, but when something like eating a celery and putting the stalk in water gives you more celery, it’s pretty mind boggling. It only takes a few days to see new growth and in a couple weeks there is enough to get a few new pieces to my salad. I wonder how much people throw away food that could easily be grown into more food, with very minimal effort.

I need to do more research into what I could grow at home. I know I always have some potatoes growing on the bottom of my fridge, but those are not the most convenient to grow in an apartment, though technically possible.

The sun and warmth is making me a little cray cray, I’m just smiling at my plants and sitting in the balcony, pointing my face to the sun. What do other people do for fun?
