Home remedies for sun tanned skin

Summer is already here, and it is time to bring out your short dresses and shades to enjoy the summer sun in the beach with your friends. Despite all the happiness and fun, at the end of the day most of us are left with sun tan on face and hands that takes away all the fun from the outing.

So don't worry, here are some tips to remove the sun tan. It is best to choose home remedies to remove sun tan isn't it.

1.Buttermilk and Oat Meal:

Add 3 tablespoons of buttermilk and 2 tablespoons of oatmeal. make a paste and massage it on your face using circular moments and wash it using fresh water. Use this for one week and see the difference:)

2.Tomato Extract and Yogurt:

Mix up 1 tablespoon of each ingredient and apply the paste on tanned areas. Keep it for half an hour and wash it off with water.

3.Potato Juice and Lemon Juice(not for sensitive skins):

Take the juice from a medium potato and mix it with one tablespoon lemon juice. Apply it on your face and keep it for 30 mins, later wash your face using clean water. Don't apply anything on your face after that. See the difference in 3 days.

4.Milk and Turmeric:

Take 3 table spoons of turmeric and add one table spoon of milk and make a fine paste. Give your face a good application with the mixture that is formed. Let it dry, and wash it using wet clean clothe.

5.Sandalwood Powder and Coconut Water:

Thoroughly mix one tablespoon sandalwood powder in coconut water and apply it on your face. After 30 minutes wash it off.

6.Lemon Juice:

Cut a lemon and rub a slice on your tanned area. Allow it to sit for some minutes and wash it off using clean water.

7.Lemon Juice, Cucumber Extract, and Rose Water:

Mix one tablespoon of each of the 3 ingredients in a bowl and massage it on your tanned skin. Later using wet clothe clean your face.

8.Honey and Ripe Papaya:

Mash up about half a cup of papaya with 1 tablespoon honey. Apply it on your tanned areas and let it sit for 30 minutes. And using cold water wash it off.

9.Aloe Vera:

Aloe vera get helps to lighten your skin. Its better to use it daily. Apply to the affected area before going to bed and in the morning, wash the skin thoroughly. It also helps cleanse and nourish the skin.

10.Gram Flour:

Gram flour is very useful in treating a sun tan as it helps remove dead skin cells and leaves your skin bright and young.

Mix the gram flour in water and rub it all over the affected skin area. Wait 20 minutes before washing if off with water. Do this twice a week for a few months. For best results, use rose water instead of plain water. You can also mix some lime juice and yogurt into the paste.

PS: Before using apply it on small part of area and check for the reaction. If it itches or turns red do don't use those ingredients.
