God, our Father. Not only of bread the man lives.

Reflections, Experiences, Testimonies and more about how wonderful Our God is.

Faith. Hope for what is expected and certainty on what is believed.

God, our Father. Not only of bread the man lives.
God and his resplendent beauty

Because the invisible things of [...] him, become clearly visible from the creation of the world ... (verse 20).
Romans 1: 18-25
Lord Howe Island is a paradise of white sands and crystal clear waters on the east coast of Australia. When I visited her a few years ago, I was surprised by her beauty. You could swim with turtles and bright fish and incredible colors. Overwhelmed by such splendor, I could not help but worship God.
The apostle Paul provides the reason for my answer. Creation in all its splendor reveals something about the nature of God (Romans 1:20).
When the prophet Ezekiel met God, he was shown a radiant being seated on a blue throne and surrounded by glorious colors (Ezekiel 1: 25-28). The apostle John saw something similar: God shone like precious stones, surrounded by a rainbow of emeralds (Revelation 4: 2-3). When God reveals Himself, we discover not only that He is good and powerful, but also beautiful. The creation reflects this beauty as a work of art reflects its author.
Many times, nature is worshiped instead of God (Romans 1:25). What a tragedy! Instead let the crystalline waters and bright creatures point us to the One behind them and who is more powerful and beautiful than anything in this world.

"Bless the Lord, my soul. O Lord my God, thou hast greatly magnified yourself; you have clothed yourself with glory and magnificence. " Psalm 104: 1

The beauty of creation reflects the beauty of our Creator.
