Hollywood Has Beens... Or Not

Have you noticed that you won't hear from some actors, musicians, etc. for years and then they suddenly show up on a cable network show like the ones tracing back family roots or “Long Island Medium”? Or maybe they have a song that's suddenly in a commercial.

You know why? Well, it’s because it’s their turn again. That’s right. Either the artist’s or talent’s public relations team are given the assignment to get their clients involved into certain projects so seeds have been planted just in time to pave the way for a new CD release, TV show or film release.

So, if you see anyone you haven't heard of in like 5 years they haven't had an album or show, and then they are suddenly on “Dancing with the Stars”, then chances are they'll have a new product out soon so they can get their next dose of money and fame.

Go ahead, track it yourself next time you see a ‘has been” in the news, a commercial or reality TV show. Before long, they will have a product to sell you. It’s all part of the Hollywood machine.

As I’m dictating this into my phone, I’m spotting Jay Leno drive past me in a convertible on Coldwater Canyon in Beverly Hills. Lol. At 7:24AM. The early bird gets the worm in this town.
